Who we are
CamCtrl is a remote control app for Blackmagic cameras, available for Android, iOS, and the web. It is developed and published by Turskyi Viktor Vitaliiovych ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the app and the camctrl.app website handle.

Information the app collects
CamCtrl does not require an account and does not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or files. The app contains no advertising and no analytics or tracking SDKs.
App settings (for example, saved cameras and display preferences) are stored only on your device and are never sent to us.
Local network access
CamCtrl discovers and controls Blackmagic cameras on your local network. All camera control traffic goes directly between your device and your camera and never passes through our servers. On Android, the app requests the following permissions solely for this purpose:
INTERNET- to communicate with cameras over the network.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATEandACCESS_WIFI_STATE- to check that your device is connected to a network.CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE- to discover cameras automatically on the local network (mDNS).
Purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never receive or store your payment card details. Purchase status is managed through RevenueCat, which uses an anonymous app user ID and transaction information provided by the store to confirm your purchases. These services handle data according to their own privacy policies:
Website
The camctrl.app landing page uses Google Analytics for Firebase to collect aggregated, anonymous usage statistics (such as page views and approximate region) to help us improve the site. See the Google Privacy Policy for details.
Data sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties, except with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate the app and website.
Children's privacy
CamCtrl is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your choices and data deletion
Because app data is stored only on your device, uninstalling the app removes it. For any privacy question or a data deletion request, contact us at contact@camctrl.app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
